It's been awhile since I last updated the blog. I've been ill for the past week, but much better now and will try to take more photos and also get printing again! :))

I'm working on a new design today. Just started carving out a pattern on lino. I'm feeling really sleepy tho! :P Jill's at nursery today, so I must persevere, sleep can wait. I'm going to have a go at another toddler tee and perhaps a little pouch too. Hope to have pictures up either today or tomorrow.

Glad friends and family on Facebook have liked what they've seen so far too! It helps motivate me to want to do more. :)

Introduction

Hello! So this is my blog! The idea is to put up pictures of what I have been, am doing and will be doing.

A few months ago, I bought a book on printing. Jill was at nursery that day and the postman arrived with my parcel from Amazon. It was sunny and I was sat on my sofa in my sitting room with the sun streaming in and I felt inspired to create my own hand printed things. I started off doing potato prints but they didn't really look right somehow. So, I tried lino and stencils and I'm really liking the results. It has been fun but not easy. Finding the right paints was the most difficult.
I've done quite a few things and will be posting photos of these hand printed things as I go along. So please look around and give me your thoughts and comments (and orders too!) and help me as I venture along.

The next step is to set up my own website selling my stuff! (with an e-commerce developer as a husband, I'm hoping that will be the easy part! :P)

Every print is different. Every item is one of a kind. It's a messy job, but I love printing by hand!
