Floor Cushions

 

Large floor cushions 70cm x 70cm - (standard size pads can be found at John Lewis and online!). I will be adding these to my website soon hopefully. Floor cushions are great espeically if you have guests around or next to a low coffee table and on a rug. We have a couple in our sitting room and our daughters love lying on them and need I say? So does the dog!

Oak cushions & Daisy my dog

My little Daisy dog loves it when I put new cushions out on our sofa. These are my Oak cushions in hot pink and canary yellow on an indigo background. I had an interesting time putting my new designs together. After talking to a friend of mine who was looking to buy some cushions for her new home and hearing her thoughts, I decided to add a few brighter and bolder designs to the new cushion covers and this one, is one of my favourites - and I'm someone who prefers muted colours! It definitely adds colour to the white walls in our north facing sitting room and our vintage brown sofa.

This week, I have been working on giving my website www.kiranravilious.com a little bit of an update. I've done the designs and hopefully, it'll be ready very soon.

Country Living Magazine feature

I'm very pleased (and so is my dog Daisy!! :P) to have a little feature in the February issue of Country Living Magazine (UK). They've started a new section the magazine titled Country in the City, featuring artists/designers etc. who live in the city but are inspired by the countryside. 

The first day of 2014

Hello everyone and hope you're having a good start to 2014. I can't say I've done very much today and the highlight of my day has been the lie-in that I had as a result of us being invited to two new year's eve parties yesterday which completely knackered the kids out! 

I sincerely hope the new year is a good one for everyone. I promise to try and blog more than once a year! Look forward to interacting with those who read my blog and to sharing some of my new work on here soon! - kiran
