Last year, I bought a footstool. I thought it would be fun to buy something old and give it a new lease of life. I never got round to doing anything with it. It just sat on the floor in the corner of my studio. When I started printing, I decided I'd get round to giving my poor footstool a new look and I FINALLY got it sorted yesterday!

I printed the design on to the fabric, added new stuffing, nailed the fabric to the base and then added the trimming.

    Kipper is a great name! The breeder called ours Daisy, but we think she should be called shoe-brush! :P

  8. hi tammy! you've got a lovely blog. i love your owl and i really like charley harper's works too. my sister-in-law bought me his bird's and words one and now I want to get illustrated life. there are even some lovely flash cards and books for little ones. :) yes, definitely nice to know another "inkling"! :))
