Two designs for my website. I'm not sure which one to go for for my homepage. I will retake the photo in the second one if I end up using that design so the sun isn't shining directly on the cushions and the chair. Any thoughts/suggestions would be appreciated!

  1. I like the first one - it looks more immediately interactive, and it's great to see a variety of work right away.

  2. I think the first one has a more modern/fresh appeal (but I am a simple gal) :)

  3. I like the first one too. Something about the bold flower in the corrner just grabs you and makes you want to know more. Good job on both designs though!

  4. Thannk you ladies! I'm leaning towards number one after all your comments. I, for some reason, really like number 2. It's so Me. I like the earthy, cosy, snug, homely look, but perhaps for a website I need something that says "Look at this! Here! Buy this!". Perhaps I could come up with a compromise. Sometimes I wish I didn't have to deal with all this and to just be able to get on with printing. :P

  5. Hi Kiran,
I think the top one reminds me of Heals/Habitat very contemporary strong brand identity. The second one, like yourself I love, but it makes me think of a very different style of crafts website. I suppose it depends how you want your products to come across. I love them both though. I would say that the first page would flow through to your ecommerce section more smoothly than going from a cream first page to white subsequent pages. They look fab. Jo @ Nine Photos x

  7. Me too! Maybe I could use it as my 'thank you' card when I start selling online.

  8. Now, there's a ton of freelancers out there who work in different capacities, and with different budgets and who have different strengths and weaknesses. The person you ultimately select will depend on what you want to spend, what's needed for your keyword phrase as well as other factors.

  9. It's highly recommended that if you want to get started right now, that you use a step by step program. However, before you do so you'll have to know what program works the best. I've tested and compared many programs, and the results have shown me the following program is the best simply because it's easy to use, it actually works and because it's undetectable.
